Subject: Stormwater Control Measure Inspection- TOM-UGDo1(20-0214)
Dear Property Owner,
The Town of Morrisville conducted a site inspection of the Stormwater Control Measure (SCM)
approved with the development of the subject property. The control is in compliance with the Town's
local ordinances associated with our National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES)
Phase II permit (NCSo00465). A copy of the inspection report is included with this letter.
Please be aware that these Town conducted annual inspections and reports only relieve the owner of
submitting the owner's own annual inspection and report. SCM owners are still ultimately
responsible for all routine inspection and maintenance of the SCM(s) to ensure compliance with
their Operation and Maintenance Agreement, UDO, and NPDES Phase II permit. The Town is not liable for
any maintenance required because of the annual inspection reports. The Town encourages owners to obtain
a monthly or quarterly maintenance contract with a stormwater maintenance company. Should an owner
disagree with the inspection report provided by the Town, they may submit a 3'd party reportfrom a
qualified professional and request a formal review in accordance with the Departmental Policy.
