The assistance of Mr. Randy Bishop, Operator in Responsible Charge, was greatly appreciated. Below is a Iist of findings developed from the inspection and subsequent file review: • Ardagh Glass is permitted to discharge furnace quenching water and consists of a 0.5 million gallon holding tank. The facility discharges to Martin Creek, a class C-NSW in the Tar -Pamlico River Basin • Per Mr. Bishop, there has not been a discharge from the holding tank since the last inspection conducted in 2017. The facility intends to maintain the capability to discharge process water to surface waters if needed in the future.
