Please give a brief project description below.
The project consists of construction of a residential subdivision. The
proposed impacts will occur from construction of the entrance road
from Rolesville Road and rehabilitation of the existing pond dam. The
construction of the entrance road will impact the majority (0.36 ac) of
a herbaceous headwater wetland within a fallow agricultural field,
leaving a small (0.13 ac) acre remnant portion of the wetland on the
south side of the entrance road. Since this wetland has been
historically impacted from farming and would be too small to be viable
in the post development condition, the remaining 0.13 acres of
wetland are proposed to be impacted for Lots 115 & 116.
The rehabilitation of the existing pond dam will result in 0.002 acres
(103 sf) for replacement of the outfall structure and construction of a
plunge pool below the dam.
