In accordance with a written request from Brent Collins dated March 8, 2021 to withdrawal the
subject permit application, the Water Quality Permitting Section is returning your application and
associated documents.
Please note that the current Davie County Residuals Land Application Program (Permit No.
WQ0010583) has a limit of 315 dry tons per year (DT/yr). If greater than 315 DT/yr is to be land applied
in one calendar year, then a permit modification is required to increase the annual limit. Please note that a
permit modification to add additional land may also be necessary to support the increased volume of
residuals applied under Permit No. WQ0010583. Otherwise, other methods of disposal should be utilized.
Please be advised that construction and/or operation of the subject facilities without a valid permit
is a violation of North Carolina General Statute §143-215.1 and may subject the owner/operator to
appropriate enforcement actions in accordance with North Carolina General Statute § 143-215.6A-6C. Civil
penalties of up to $25,000 per day per violation may be assessed for failure to secure a permit required by
North Carolina General Statute § 143-215.1.
