Please find the enclosed industrial pump & haul permit request. This request is being made in
order to accommodate a new brewing facility for Fonta Flora Brewery, LLC. The new production facility
is in a rural setting without access to city sewer. We do have official farm status with the USDA, and
given the low impact and highly dilute nature of our waste, we may pursue an on -site treatment and
irrigation plan in the future once we are able to more fully assess the costs and challenges associated
with that approach. In the interim, we plan to install a collection tank at the farm, and have the
brewing waste .pumped and hauled to the Morganton Wastewater Treatment Facility. Domestic waste
will be an entirely separate waste stream that is managed by an on -site septic system/drain field. If you

Brewery's Whippoorwill Dairy site. As we discussed, the volume of wastewater will be less than 50,000
gallons per week.
You will be responsible for the hauling of material to our septage station on Vinearden Rd just outside
of the wastewater treatment plant. Plant staff will coordinate the disposal into our treatment system.
