On behalf of the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) in cooperation with the Federal Transit
Administration (FTA) STV /Ralph Whitehead Associates (STV /RWA) is requesting an extension
to the 30 day response period you provided in your March 20 2012 a mail In responding to the
NCDWQ s request for additional information a series of revisions have been made to the permit
drawings Additional design revisions are also being implemented based on comments we have
received from Norfolk Southern We anticipate that the remaining information requested by the
NCDWQ will be provided within the next 60 days If you have any additional questions or
