Enclosed is the Town of Troy Pretreatment Annual Report and one copy for the period January 1, 2020
through December 31, 2020.
Wright Foods (Permit number 0003 ) was in SNC for the first and second half of 2020. NOV's were issued
accordingly, as well as public notice in the newspaper. We are currently working with the industry on a
consent order to bring them back into compliance.
I certify, under penalty of law that these documents were prepared by me. The information submitted is
true, accurate, and complete. I am aware that there are significant penalties for submitting false information,
including the possibility of fines and imprisonment for known violations.

2020 PAR/SNC Narrative
Wright Foods (WF) was in SNC for the period January through June of 2020, as well as
July through December. The problem pollutants were BOD, & TSS.
There were nine months of violations in total during the year.
1st half of 2020
4 samples that were TRC violations for BOD daily max limits.
2 months of TRC monthly average limits violations.
2nd half of 2020
1 month of TRC violations for BOD. 2 months of TRC violations for TSS. The BOD
permit limit for the period was 600 mg/L monthly avg. the actual monthly avg. was 899
mg/L.
2 months of TRC violations for TSS
The TSS permit limit for the period was 300 mg/L monthly avg. the actual monthly avg.
was 474 mg/L.
NOV's were issued for each permit violation event.
The town is currently working with Wright Foods on a consent order that will increase
the limits for BOD and TSS for 12 months while they work on options to reduce the
amount of BOD and TSS that they discharge.
Dental Amalgam info:
There are 2 dental dischargers in Troy, we received the one- time compliance report from
1 of them. So, response rate would be 50%
