Subject Courtesy notification for the use of a NW 3 & 13 request for pipe replacement and riprap
placement on SR 1306 (Newlands Rd) 1 mi south of SR 1307 in Hyde County
This is a courtesy notification from the North Carolina Department of Transportation for the use of
a NW 3 & 13 permit for the replacement of a pipe and riprap placement on SR 1306 in Hyde County The
pipe is located 1 mile south of SR 1307 (35 545912 76 253994) The existing pipes are 2 @ 72 x 48
Corrugated Metal Pipe The pipes will be completely removed following NCDOT BMP s for pipe
replacement The proposed pipe is 1 @ 117 x 79 x 48 Corrugated Aluminum Pipe Arch with riprap on
both ends The pipe is located in a UT to Florida Canal Class C Sw waters a tributary to Lake
Mattamuskeet Class C Sw waters Permit drawings and a topo map are included in this letter If you
