available upon request The NCDOT proposes to replace existing Bridge 42 over Durham Creek on SR 1003 (Tunstall Swamp Road) in Beaufort County The project involves replacement of the existing 104 foot bridge and approaches with a new 130 -foot bridge and approaches The new bridge will feature two 11 -foot lanes with 6 -foot offsets The west approach will be approximately 180 6 feet long and the east approach will be approximately 188 8 feet long Proposed permanent impacts to riparian wetlands are 0 01 acre for fill Traffic will be detoured off site during construction This project calls for
