Please reference your September 27, 2011 request for a time extension of the Department
of the Army authonzation to discharge fill matenal mto 0 44 acre of npazian wetlands and 100
lmear feet of an unnamed tnbutary to Howe Creek and temporazy impacts to 561inear feet of an
unnamed tnbutazy to Howe Creek and 140 squaze feet of wetlands These impacts are associated
wrth the construction of the Research Park at Westfall mixed-use development, located along the
eastside of Milrtary Cutoff Road in Wilmmgton, New Hanover County North Carolma You
were previously issued an extension for two years m a letter dated August 24, 2009 in wluch
hme no work had been done
After review of your request we have determined that the time extension can be
authonzed for another two years provided that (1) no deviation or other modifications have
occurred from the onginal permitted plans, and (2) you complete all authorized impacts by
December 31, 2013 If any authorized work m wetlands or Waters of the U S is not complete by
the deadlme then you will have to re apply for a new Department of the Army permrt under the
most current regulations
Please be reminded that all condrtions of the onginal permrt remain applicable We are
requesting m addition to these conditions that as built surveys of the authonzed impact areas be
provided to our Office v�nthm 30 days of completion of the pro�ect
