The vegetation behind and at the far end of the lagoons has been removed. I spoke with Glenn of R&A labs and he
indicated that filling the holes with dirt was sufficient. I am having a load of "red" dirt brought in and we will fill holes, let
it settle, pack and continue the process until we have filled completely. In addition, both spray fields have been sod
drilled with a blend of fescue and rye grass. In the spring we will spray for weeds and keep the fields mowed. We are
going to do this with our equipment instead of being dependent on a local farmer as we have been in the past.
The gate on the back spray field has been repaired and is now closed. We have found the old plans for the spray fields
and we are trying to locate the downed riser in the back field. Once we do we will repair and or replace. Signs are being
made (had no idea sign makers could be so busy) and will be installed as soon as I receive. We have a digital flow meter
ordered and as soon as it comes in we will have it installed.
Last on the list is the status of the test well. Jeff Balsieper is reviewing correspondence with NCDR and I should have an
answer shortly.
