REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Dear Mr. Godshall:
On September 27, 2011, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your application
for to conduct stream determinations for construction of the Invenergy Wind Energy
Project. After review of your application the DWQ has determined that your application
is incomplete and/or provided inaccurate information as discussed below. The DWQ will
require additional information in order to process your application and conduct stream
determinations. Therefore, unless we receive the additional information requested below,
we will have to move toward denial of your application. This project will be placed "on
hold" as incomplete until we receive this additional information. Please provide the
following information so that we may continue to review your project,
Additional Information Requested:
1. Property Access
It is necessary to provide this Office with verification for access to properties within the
project area. DWQ staff cannot enter upon properties for stream determinations without
first securing permission from property owners.

Sheet 3 of Topo maps provided for stream determinations does not show roadways to
turbine locations. It is necessary to show roadway used for turbine access. Temporary
construction roadways should also be shown.
Please respond within 30 days of the date of this letter by sending this information to me
in writing at the DWQ Washington Regional Office. If we do not hear from you within
30 days, we will assume that you no longer want to pursue this project and we will
consider the project as withdrawn.
This letter only addresses the application review and does not authorize any impacts to
wetlands, waters or protected buffers. Please be aware that any impacts requested within
your application are not authorized (at this time) by the DWQ. Please call Roberto
Scheller of the Washington Regional Office at 252948-3917 if you have any questions
regarding this matter.
