Town Creek provided 1,375 linear feet of stream channel Construction
was completed and the site was planted in December 2006 NCDOT is
monitoring the site following the Level I monitoring twice each year for the 5
year monitoring period (summer and winter) Reference photos, plant
survival, and visual inspection of channel stability Due to low survival of
bareroot seedlings the buffer was replanted in February 2008 The buffer
along the left side was mowed so in March 2011, NCDOT replanted this
area and installed control access fence along the ROW to prevent further
site disturbance Two areas of erosion exist at Sta 13+00 and at Sta
16+50 NCDOT live staked the eroded areas in March 2010 NCDOT will
continue to monitor the Town Creek site through 2012 to complete the 5
year monitoring period

Good morning all,
I wanted to let you all know that the repairs that were proposed for the Town Creek stream project were
completed on August 3'd, 2011. The repairs were done in accordance with the plan that was submitted for your
review. This area will be replanted this winter and NCDOT will continue to monitor this site for the remainder of
the 5 year monitoring period. I've attached photos of the repaired area to this email, please let me know if you
