REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION
Dear Mr. Lang:
On August 26, 2011, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your
application dated August 12, 2011 to impact 10-13 acres of waters for
maintenance dredging on the subject property. The DWQ has
determined that your application was incomplete and/or provided
inaccurate information as discussed below. The DWQ will require
additional information in order to process your application to impact
protected isolated wetlands and/or streams on the subject property.
Therefore, unless we receive the additional information requested below,
we will have to move toward denial of your application as required by
15A NCAC 2H .0506. This project will be placed "on hold" as incomplete
until we receive this additional information. Please provide the following
information so that we may continue to review your project.

Additional Information Requested:
1. Limitations on Actions during NCEPA Process
According to 15A NCAC 01 C.0107, no DENR agency shall undertake
in the interim any action which might limit the choice among alternatives or
otherwise prejudice the ultimate decision on the issue. A permit approval
limits the choice among alternatives and shall not be approved until the
final environmental document for action is published in the Environmental
Bulletin and approved through the State Clearinghouse. DWQ hereby
notifies you than your application is considered incomplete and will be
placed on hold until such time that these Environmental Review documents
are complete and approved by the State Clearinghouse.
This letter only addresses the application review and does not authorize
any impacts to wetlands, waters or protected buffers. Please be aware
that any impacts requested within your application are not authorized (at
this time) by the DWQ. Please call Amy Adams of the Washington

a meeting to discuss this matter.
