PD.F.A - Natural Environment Unit North Carolina Department of Transportation 1598 Mail Service Center Raleigh, North Carolina 27699-1598 Dear Mr. Harris: C) 5 -50 G ?- k6 e Reference your March 10, 2011 letter, requesting documentation that we require no further monitoring of the UT to Richland Creek Mitigation Site, adjacent to the NC 98 Wake Forest Bypass at Sta. 10+40-Y2-, in Wake County, North Carolina, which was mitigation for TIP Project R-2809B. The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) has monitored the mitigation site for channel stability, and submitted reports in 2006 and 2007. Representatives of . NCDOT Natural Environment and Division 5, the Corps, and environmental review agencies, inspected the site on March 1, 2011. Based on the March 1, 2011 site inspection, we concur with your recommendation to discontinue monitoring and close this site, and have determined that you have satisfied the mitigation stream construction, monitoring, and mitigation requirements of the permit authorization for TIP R-2809B.
