A total of 90 LF of 2" sewer line will be needed to complete the system. The private pump station will serve the single building. It will connect to the recently completed 8" forcemain owned by the CFPUA. The average daily design flow of the station is 475 GPD. The pump station reliability of the station is per 15A NCAC 02T .0305 (h)(1)(C). A portable pump power source shall be dedicated to backup this station. A letter will be provided that the portable source of power is owned or contracted for by the permittee and is compatible with the station. Telemetry is provided at the station with remote notification if a power outage or problem occurs. A high-water audio and visual alarm are provided. There are 2 separate conditions that occur at the connection point to the CFPUA forcemain. The design condition is where the upstream pumps that connect to the forcemain are off. This results in a very low head condition to pump into the 8" forcemain. This condition will result in a condition of approximately 15 GPM at 36' TDH. The second condition is with upstream pump on. The CFPUA can give us little confidence in the pressure to overcome. Our maximum pump operating will be approximately 9.5 GPM at 119' TDH. The MDC requires if practical, a minimum of 2 cycles per hour. Due to the ADF and the duplex pump / wet well requirements, it is not practical to meet the 2 cycles per hour requirement. Also, the MDC requires a minimum of 2 FPS in all forcemain design. Due to the extreme conditions that the pump station must overcome, we cannot provide 2 FPS in the desired 2" forcemain. The length of the forcemains is 90 LF. We do not recommend downsizing the forcemain to less than 2". A portion of the 2" forcemain in the right-of-way from the CFPUA forcemain to the gate valve at the right-of-way shall be maintained by the CFPUA. This system will be served by the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority. 12/17/2020 34'17'18.4"N 77'58'01.2"W - Google Maps Go"-,gle Maps Fleet Fueling Pf yrM1 in J 8 Lawn Sprinklers.
