Mr. Patterson:
Based on our onsite meeting yesterday, concerning the proposed Old Stoney
Creek and Lake Cammack Dam Repair project (SAW-2010-01864, we will need the
following information to consider the application complete:
1. Amount of material that was removed from the Old Stoney Creek Dam
tailrace (impact site #02) and the location that it was deposited.
2. Re-defined description of impacts at the riser location for Old Stoney
Creek Dam (impact site #01).
3. Description of methods used to maintain the 7Q10 flow downstream of Lake
Cammack (use of a siphon was discussed).
4. A small amount of wetland was observed along the lakeshore of Lake
Cammack. Please provide an updated delineation, including routine data
sheets for this site. Also, please provide updated plans to show if any
discharge of fill material will occur. If the discharge is temporary, you
must provide a restoration plan.
5. Please indicate in writing that you will not operate the water supply
intake at Stoney Creek Dam during construction.
As discussed yesterday, once the information listed above is received, we do
not anticipate any issues with verifying this project under a Nationwide
Permit. Please call me if you have questions or concerns. Thanks.
