A Public Notice issued by the US Army Corps of Engineers will be necessary to begin the review and approval process. Please note that the following must be received prior to issuance of a 401 Water Quality Certification. Until the Public Notice is provided, I will request (by copy of this letter) that the Corps of Engineers place this project on hold. Also, this project will be placed on hold for our processing due to incomplete information (15A NCAC 2H .0507(a)). S&ME enclosed check #16925 for $570. That check will be returned directly to them. The initial fee of $240 was paid with the permit application received July 16, 2010. A review of the impacts reflects wetlands are less than one (1) acre and stream impact is less than 150 linear feet. Thank you for your attention.
