On November 6, 2008, the NC Division of Water Quality (DWQ) issued a 401 Water Quality
Certification (WQC) to impact 290 linear feet of unnamed tributary to Cane Creek to construct the
Hambright Road Extension in Mecklenburg County.
In order to meet Condition 8 of the 401 Certification for this project, a stormwater management plan,
dated September 20, 2010, was received by the DWQ on September 28, 2010. Additional st'ormwater
information, dated October 28, 2010, was received by the DWQ on October 29, 2010. This, stormwater
management plan has been reviewed and satisfies the stormwater management conditions of the:401 ;
Water Quality Certification.
The stormwater treatment system, which includes two wet detention ponds and the signed and notarized
Operation and Maintenance Agreements dated September 15, 2010, as approved by this Office, and the
drainage patterns depicted on the plan sheets, must be maintained in perpetuity. No changes to the
structural stormwater practices shall be made without written authorization from the Division of Water
Quality. All stormwater management conveyances, detention and treatment structures shall have
maintenance access and at least 10-foot drainage easement on each side to allow for the ability to
maintain the structures, to perform corrective actions and shall provide protection of the structures from
potential alterations by future property owners.
