The culvert has been completed and the bridge is over 50% complete.
Grading needs to be completed.
All other areas of the project appeared to be in good condition.
Continue to maintain erosion control devices and continue with seeding and mulching as required.

Dear Mr. Swain:
I
On September 13, 2010, 1 inspected the construction work on TIP Project No. B-4261, NCSR 1520 (Rock
Road) in Rutherford County. The culvert work has been completed and at least 50% of the bridge has been
'completed. Grading for widening of the road had not started at the time of inspection.
Please ensure that all sediment and erosion control structures are maintained and seeding and mulching are
performed as required to protect State surface waters. Also, please refer to the attached inspection report for
any specific items noted during the inspection.
