Dear Eglantina,
The attached letter approves the City of Lexington's November 18, 2020, Industrial Waste Survey (IWS) and sets a
new due date for an updated IWS submittal. Regardless of this approval action, within 180 days of the effective
date of any reissued NPDES permit/NPDES permit modification, the permittee would be required to submit a
written technical evaluation of the need to revise local limits.
Please remember that it is the responsibility of the POTW to ensure that any significant industrial user (SIU) is
identified and added to the City's pretreatment program. This includes evaluating new industrial users (IUs)
before they commence to discharge and evaluating existing IUs.

and the environment.
