Applicant: Town of Morehead City / Newport River Boat Ramp
Location: The project site is located at 301 Highway 70, Radio Island, Morehead City, Carteret
County.
Proposed Project: The applicant is proposing to outfall pipe improvements, excavation, grading and
development of the existing high ground with all associated infrastructure such as an
access road, parking and the relocation of an existing berm. Also proposing to
construct a six lane boat ramp area with two sheet pile breakwaters.
