The site is an existing boating access area with 1 boat ramp and gravel parking. Surrounding areas are undeveloped
woods.

The ramp is difficult to use because of sediment accumulation around the end of the ramp from powerloading. This
project proposes to remove the accumulating pebbley/sandy sediment to provide adequate water depths for launching,
recovering, and maneuvering of boats.
3e. Describe the overall project in detail, including the type of equipment to be used:
When this ramp was constructed in the 1960s, dredging was part of the original construction. This project proposes
minor excavation (21 cubic yards) of the accumulated pebbley/sandy sediment just beyond the end of the ramp. The
excavation will be performed by an excavator on the shore.

The proposed work is a short-term fix because the ramp is currently very difficult to use in normal and low water
conditions. This ramp has not been renovated since its original construction in the 1960s. In the future a full renovation
is planned consisting of a new ramp directly over the existing and a floating dock with the abutment being above MHW.
Less than 1 acre will be disturbed in the future full renovation.
