Dear Mr. Stovall:
The Non -Discharge Permitting Unit has conducted a preliminary review of the subject permit
application. Additional information is required before we may continue our review. Please address the
following items no later than October 13, 2000.
1. Please provide and acceptable flow allocation letter from the County of Anson. The
letter provided with the application package does not specify the amount of flow to be
accepted. as is required by Instruction F of the submitted application.
2. The proposed project is a modification to an existing permit that was issued to the
County of Anson on September 21. 1991. The subject application lists the North
Carolina Department of Correction as the Permittee. If the North Carolina Department of
Correction wishes to be the Pe=, ttee and will assume all operating and maintenance
responsibilities for the system. please complete and return the enclosed Permittee
Name/Ownership Change Form (FORM: PNOCF 06/00). If the County of Anson wishes
remain the Permittee, please submit revised pages 2 and 5 of the application reflecting
the County of Anson as the Permittee. `
Please note that comments from the Regional Office are pending at this time, and additional requests
may be necessary following receipt of these comments. Please be aware that you are responsible for
meeting all requirements set forth in North Carolina rules and regulations. Any oversights that occurred
in the review of the subject application are still the responsibility of the applicant. Any omissions made
in responding to the above items may result in future requests for additional information.
Please reference the subject permit application number when providing the requested information. All
revised and/or additional documentation should be signed, sealed, dated, and submitted in duplicate to
my attention at the address below. Please note that failure to provide this additional information on or
before the above requested date may result in your application being returned as incomplete.
