On behalf of Pharr Yarns, LLC ("Pharr"), this letter serves as notice of Pharr's request for
rescission of Pharr's NPDES Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit NC0004812.
Pharr notified the Division in March 2018 that as part of the Clear Water Management Trust Fund
Grant Number 2011-508 this plant is to be taken off-line. Since that time,Pharr has been diligently
working on the process of decommissioning the facility. The wastewater treatment facility has
now been cleaned and the discharge pipe was removed on November 20,2020. Pharr is requesting
an inspection for the rescission of this permit as soon as possible after that date so that it can begin
the work of removing the facility infrastructure.
