Re: Rescission of NPDES Permit NCOOO1376 Riverplace WWTP
Dear Mr. Weaver
As you may know, the Burlington Mill Factory located in North Raleigh closed in 1995. The
wastewater treatment facility was taken off-line in the mid 2000's when the property tied onto
the City of Raleigh's wastewater collection system. Since there is no longer a need for the
wastewater treatment plant, we want to permanently close this facility.
Riverplace, LLC hereby respectfully requests that the Division rescind NPDES Permit
NC0001376. Please advise what if any steps are necessary to permanently close the wastewater
treatment facility. We look forward to your response and if you have any questions, please do
