The existing pipe is a 1@158'x105" CMPA with headwalls. The replacement structure a single spans 70', 24" cored slab with 4' caps. The roadway grade of the new structure is almost 2 foot higher along the bridge in order to obtain the correct design speed for this route. There will be no direct discharge into the stream (no deck drains on the bridge). All existing stormwater drainage patterns were maintained on the project to the fullest extent. The storm drainage from the bridge deck will be discharged on the west quadrant into a ditch. The ditches on all four quadrants were impacted by the project.
