The draft Notice of Deficiency is currently with the DEQ attorney and management for review. It may be a little while before it is issued, but it essentially provides your options and instructions for submitting a “streamlined” permit renewal application. I understand that development has not yet commenced, so the “audit” will be primarily focused on discussion of options for reissuing the permit (which is required as part of the standard audit process). EPA has requested that I perform a site visit regardless of development status. Please let me know if any of the following meeting options will work for you. Meeting at Quible’s offices in Powells Point either August 28, 29 or 30. Meeting in Edenton either August 19, 21, 22 or 23.
