Attached please find a copy of a letter being sent regarding upcoming changes to the reporting format for Stormwater
Permit sampling data.
Included with the letter is a Permit Summary Report.
It has come to my attention that the Owner Affiliation does not include a mailing address.
Please review the report and update accordingly.

Manage Information for an Existing Industrial Permit
Enter your stormwater permit number into the Stormwater Permit Summary Report and you will see a form that
includes the address of the facility, contact information for the permit, and the regulated stormwater outfall(s)
for the facility.
To update the:
• Facility name or ownership, complete the Name/Ownership Change Form.
• Legally responsible person, complete the Owner Designation/Affiliation Form.
• Facility address or contact information, email Suzanne McCoy.

NPDES Industrial Stormwater Permit
Electronic Reporting Requirements
Individual Permit No. NCS000175

On January 1, 2021, all NPDES Individual Industrial permittees will begin reporting required
sampling data via the electronic Data Monitoring Report (eDMR) system. The six step Stormwater
eDMR process can also be found by entering "deg.nc.eov/SW-eDMR" in your browser. All
instructions, links and forms you will need are available there.
You will need to complete the following steps by the following dates.
By December 1, 2020, you will need to complete:
- Step 1: Verify Database Information
- Step 2: Submit eReporting Registration Form
By February 1, 2021, you will need to complete:
- Step 3: Set Up Data Entry and View Only Users in eDMR
- Step 4: Request Certify and Submit Privileges for Certain Users
Before July 1, 2021, you will need to have completed Step 5: Enter Monitoring Data in eDMR. Your
permit requires that monitoring data be submitted within 30 days of receiving the data from the
lab.
On an ongoing and as -needed basis, you will need to complete Step 6: Maintain Facility and User
Data.
