With the COVID mess and the majority of time spent working out of the home, everything has become a bit
more challenging. I can forward you a closeout inspection form if necessary, when I get my day in the Office
early next week. I assure you the project is complete from our perspective and they should not have to pay an
annual fee.

Subject: Project Closure for Duke Central Campus Demolition
Good morning, Rob,
We received a notice of termination request for the above project under the NCG010000 Construction Stormwater
permit (COC no. 190286). Normally we required final close-out inspection documentation to complete this request;
however, the applicant only uploaded this bond release. I have seen erosion inspection reports for other Durham
County projects. Is there such a report available for this project? I wanted to check before rejecting the NOT request for
insufficient documentation. They should be getting some kind of close-out inspection or letter for close-out of the
actual E&SC Plan so that they can terminate the COC under the NCG010000. Their annual fee is due now, so it's
important that they are able to provide appropriate documentation.
Thank you,
Bethany Georgoulias
