Operation and Maintenance Plan

Introduction: This manual shall serve as guidance for staff
maintaining Town owned stormwater control measures.
Maintenance is the activity that ensures that SCM's remain in proper
working order, able to improve water quality at an effective level
into the future. Below is a list of action items and frequencies for the
various types of control measures that are maintained by the Town
Stormwater Department. These activities should be recorded for
documentation purposes.
Any noted deficiencies should be brought to attention of Management
in an effort to remedy the problem.
For expanded further guidance, please reference the SCM Design
Manual, put forth by the NC DEQ.
