Roadmaster Driving School — Dunn, North Carolina
Mr. Shipman:
At your request, Mitchell Environmental, PA, has completed a detailed wetland and
surface water investigation on the Roadmaster Driving School project, located
immediately west of the intersection of S. Clinton Avenue and Best Street in Dunn (PIN:
1516-44-7102.000). The investigation was completed on August 2, 2020.
Wetlands:
It is our professional opinion that no jurisdictional wetland features are present on this
site.
Surface Waters:
It is our professional opinion that no jurisdictional surface waters (streams, ponds, lakes,
etc.) are present on this site.
Buffers:
The subject site is within the Cape Fear River Basin, draining to Juniper Creek. Juniper
Creek is classified as "C; Sw" at this location and is therefore not subject to state
regulated surface water buffer rules.
Delineation Concurrence:
The US Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) is the lead regulatory agency for Clean Water
Act (CWA) Section 404 wetlands and surface waters. As such, their concurrence with
our delineation of these jurisdictional features is required before it can be considered
approved.
Limitations:
This report of our investigation observations and opinions is suitable for preliminary
planning purposes only, as regulatory concurrence has not been requested or obtained
for any potentially jurisdictional features this site. Observations and opinions detailed in
this report are reflective of conditions present on the site during our field investigation.
Any alteration of the site such as timbering or grading may concurrently alter our
delineation, thereby rendering this report invalid.
