OWS4531 AGE Maint & Equipment Storage Oils, Grease Mayfield’s Ditch 04 1,000 gal SATISFACTORY ¼”oil, 0.347% of sludge pumped.   Two Oil water separators (OWSs) that discharge to storm are serviced and inspected via an annual maintenance contract managed by the 4th Civil Engineer Squadron (4 CES), Operations Flight (CEO), Utilities Shop (4 CES/CEOIU). Currently, the waste oil contractor is Providence Environmental Inc. out of Columbia, SC. A copy of the Statement of Work (SOW) for the OWS contract and the inspection results are attached to the OWS Management Plan. Upon completion of service, the contractor is required to submit completed OWS inspection records to 4 CES/CEOIU. The most recent OWS inspection was completed by the contractor on 1/22/2020 and 4/15/2020 (no issues). OWS sampling of oil and sludge is completed by Bhate/ZAPATA (every three years) indicates SJAFB’s OWSs are in good shape. Maintenance reports are provided to 4 CES/CEOIU by contractor. Environmental compliance for OWS is regulated by the base Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures Plan. / / / OWS 2115A OWS 4531
