Sullins Dee Freeman Governor Director Secretary March 5, 2010 DWQ Project No. 06-0002v4 Wake County Mr. Stephen Rainer Holly Springs Retail hiveslinent, LLC 6150 Woodside Executive Court Aiken, South Carolina 29803 Subject Property: Shoppes at Holly Springs, NC APPROVAL OF MODIFIED STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN Dear Mr. Barron: On July 19, 2006, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) issued a storm water management plan approval letter to Mr. Art Kepes and Holly Springs Retail Investment, LLC for the purpose of constructing the subject property in Holly Springs, Wake County. The stormwater management plan satisfied the stormwater conditions required by the 401 Water Quality Certification and riparian buffer authorization issued to you on June 27, 2006. On January 8, 2010, the DWQ received a revised stormwater management plan, dated January 7, 2010, submitted by the consulting engineer Mr. Mike Ranks of Freeland and Kauffman, Inc. This revised stormwater management plan has been reviewed and satisfies the stormwater management requirements of the 401 Water Quality Certification. You are required to meet the following conditions: The stormwater management system (consisting of a stormwater wetland and all associated appurtenances), all stormwater conveyances and the grading and drainage patterns depicted on the plans, as approved by this office must be maintained in perpetuity. No changes to the structural stormwater practices shall be made without written authorization from the DWQ. The stormwater management structures shall have maintenance access to allow for the ability to maintain the structures, and to perform corrective actions. The stormwater easements shall be recorded to provide protection of the structures from potential alterations by future property owners. 2. The applicant and/or authorized agent shall provide a completed Certification of Completion Form to the DWQ 401 Program within ten (10) days of the project completion (available at: http:%-poi-tal.ncdeni-org%weblwq/swp/ws-"401 certsandpermits/apply-forms).
