Randolph County
Wastewater was removed from the facility by Total Enviro Septic and Waste LLC on the following dates
• June 12th-12,000 gallons to City of Asheboro Wastewater Treatment Facility and 8,000 gallons
to Sanford Wastewater Treatment Facility; 7pm to 12am
• June 13th — 9,000 gallons to City of Asheboro Wastewater Treatment Facility and 12,000 gallons
to Sanford Wastewater Treatment Facility; 24 hours pumped
• June 14th— 30,000 gallons to City of Asheboro Wastewater Treatment Facility and 25,000 gallons
to Sanford Wastewater Treatment Facility; 24 hours pumped
• June 15th—18,000 gallons to City of Asheboro Wastewater Treatment Facility and 16,000
gallons to Sanford Wastewater Treatment Facility; 24 hours pumped
• June 161h— 32,000 gallons to City of Asheboro Wastewater Treatment Facility; 24 hours pumped
• August 3rd—16,000 gallons to City of Asheboro Wastewater Treatment Facility; gam to 5pm
• August 4th—16,000 gallons to City of Asheboro Wastewater Treatment Facility; 9am to 5pm
Inspections, observations, and actions
• June 12" 9am power was found to be out, system was turned back on, system looked good but
pond was found to be under one foot of freeboard 0.8; noted that pond level did not match with
free board; contacted state and began emergency pump and haul
• June 131h 2pm foot valve was cleaned and we began spraying, pond levels had begun to drop
and was at 0.9
• June 141h 11am drain cover was installed at old wash bay to eliminate stormwater getting into
the system; irrigation occurred; pond level was 1.4
• June 15th 7am irrigation occurred; pond level was 1.8, foot valve was cleaned; secondary
containment at feed mill was piped so that stormwater could go to wastewater or be discharged
as stormwater
• June 161h 7am irrigation occurred; pond level was 1.8;
• June 22n1 10:00am contractor in to check pump, it was repaired and pressure improved;
irrigation occurred; Total cleaned foot valve lift station —to be done monthly going forward
• July 11t 11:30am Sanford Turf and Irrigation onsite to check rain bird; found to be in need of
replacement; irrigation occurred
• July 7th 11:30am Sanford Turf and Irrigation onsite to change controller; irrigation occurred
• July 9th 8:00am Total Enviro Septic and Waste LLC jetted pipe between ponds
• July 16th 9:00am surveying done on both lagoons to check freeboard markings
• August 3td 11:30am no irrigation but everything looked good, begun pumping to prepare for
large rainfall expected
• August 4th 1:45pm lots of rain, influent 22,121 gallons, no irrigation
• August 6th 5:00am bigger drain cover was installed at old wash bay; irrigation occurred
• September 23rd 1pm irrigation occurred; found 3 locations at the hatchery to eliminate clean
stormwater from getting into the system; parts are being ordered to make these changes
