Our Sewer Use Ordinance directly prohibits the discharge of groundwater unless we give specific authorization. For groundwater remediation sites, we can allow for a 2-year temporary permit if the site is unable to obtain an NPDES permit. We would ask that you go through the DWR permitting process first, and then let us know if any issues with obtaining the permit.
