The Division has reviewed your submittal of the No Exposure Certification for Exclusion from
NPDES Stormwater Permitting form, which we received on March 3, 2020. The Division is unable to
concur with your certification of No -Exposure.
Based on an inspection of your facility on March 5, 2020 Mooresville Regional Office staff found that
industrial activities or materials on your site either are exposed, or have the potential to be
exposed. DEMLR cannot grant your requested exemption from permit coverage when industrial
activities or materials are exposed or have the potential to be exposed. Please see attached inspection
report.

Inspection Summary:
Based upon inspection, no exposure certification is not recommended at this time. During inspection, metal discs and
metal wire filters were scattered in the parking lot. To the rear of the parking lot, there is an open top dumpster used to hold
used pallets. This dumpster utilized only a tarp to be covered, which at the time of inspection was lying on the ground next
to the dumpster.
