The inspector would like to thank Mr. RC Howard, Ms. Samantha Howard and Mr. Dan Fortin for their assistance through the inspections. We met at the WWTP initially to go over the paper work. Pumping Stations at the Dollar Tree and Food Lion locations within the shopping center were then inspected first. Pump Stations at Needle Rush, The Cottages and Bayridge residential locations were then inspected, and were all checked and found to be in compliance. The visual alarm a pump station at Bayridge was not operable; however, the backup ORC indicated that he will have it addressed in a timely manner. The collection system has many pumping stations with hook-up for temporary auxiliary power generators. It was noted that most pumping stations are configured for single phase power, but some are configured for 3 phase power. The power phasing capability of the roll -around generators should match that of the pumping station. Otherwise, spill abatement plans should include pump truck capability if roll -up generator is not compatible with pumping station power requirements.
