SCM ANNUAL REPORT
The Town of China Grove is dedicated to improving our community's surface water through the
implementation of our Stormwater Management Plan. China Grove is a Municipal Separate
Stormwater System (MS4) community with a Nation Pollution Discharge Elimination System
Permit through the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality.
You are receiving this letter because your property utilizes a structural stormwater device, or
Stormwater Control Measure (SCM), permitted by the Town of China Grove. Proper operation
and routine maintenance are a vital part of ensuring the effectiveness of your device and is the
sole responsibility of the property owner. As the responsible party you shall submit an annual
inspection report completed by a certified SCM inspector, and a copy of your rain event
inspection log.
