Hi Dana,
Upon field inspection there were coastal wetlands present. I flagged the CW line on 9/15/2020 with pink CAMA flagging.
The site plans will need to be updated to show the coastal wetland boundary.
The coastal wetland vegetation follows the neighboring bulkhead/retaining wall. If the plans for fill can avoid the coastal
vegetation, work can be done with the PCN but if you plan to fill any coastal wetlands it will trigger a Major CAMA
permit. Let me know if you have questions.
Best regards,
Ben

Hey Dana,
I was checking to see if the DCM verified the coastal wetlands boundary on this lot? I do not see any notes in the site
plan or the PCN that states that they did. Based on the data point (DP1) provided in the PCN, it lists Spatina patens (see
attached). We will need the DCM to verify if coastal wetlands per 15A NCAC 07H .0205 would be included in the
proposed impacts. I have copied Ben Brink with the DCM as well to assist you with this. Further, we will also need the
approved JD from the USACE to complete this application.
Thanks,
Robb Mairs
