Dear Mr. Cullum:
The Division has reviewed your submittal of the No Exposure Certification for Exclusion from
NPDES Stormwater Permitting form, which we received on March 3, 2020. The Division is unable
to concur with your certification of No -Exposure.
Based on an inspection of your facility on September 03, 2020 Mooresville Regional Office staff
found that industrial activities or materials on your site either are exposed, or have the potential to be
exposed. DEMLR cannot grant your requested exemption from permit coverage when industrial
activities or materials are exposed or have the potential to be exposed. Please see attached
inspection report.

Based upon inspection, no exposure certification is not recommended. At the time of inspection, metal wire filter material
was found around the parking lot and around a storm drain at the southwest corner of the parking lot. Used pallets were
stored uncovered outside along with a box containing plastic bags holding packing foam.
