Dear Ms. Lucas,
In accordance with General Permit NO. NCG020000 Vulcan Materials Company, LLC (Vulcan)
is submitting certification that the site mine is inactive and Vulcan is giving notice as outlined in
Part III 3. (b).
Vulcan request that this site be exempt from weekly, monthly BMP inspections, and analytical
monitoring. However, Vulcan will continue annual inspection and notify the Regional Office
prior to resuming industrial activities at this inactive mine as required.
Also,Yadkin Quarry Mine Permit No. 99-06 is listed in the inactive status on website inventory.
This is an un-staffed site, we normally keep the gate locked. If your division would like to make
