Subject: Toxicity Test Results
Reidsville WWTP
NPDES Permit No. NCO024881 j
Rockingham County
Dear Mr. Mitchell:
Please find attached a copy of the toxicity test results for samples obtained of the Reidsville WWTP
effluent. Aliquots from Reidsville's composite sample were collected on July 7 and 9,2020 by Mike
Mickey and Jordan Burbage of this office for use in a chronic Ceriodaphnia dubia pass/fail toxicity
test conducted by the Division's Aquatic Toxicology Branch laboratory. The Reidsville WWTP
effluent failed the Division's test at the permitted concentration of 61%. It should be noted that the
toxicity sample was also split with Meritech Environmental Laboratories. The Meritech test resulted
in a pass.
Should you have any questions concerning this report, please do not hesitate to contact Mr. Mike
Mickey at(336) 776-9692 or at mike.mickeykncdelingov. Our office appreciates the assistance of
the WWTP staff in collecting the samples.
