Description of treatment system:
Treatment consists of primary process of mechanical barscreen and
grit removal. Biological treatment by activated sludge in an oxidation
ditch followed by secondary clarification, chlorination, and
dechlorination. The sludge is aerobically digested and then land
applied.

poured down the drain. Grease can clog sewer lines. TOWN
Clogged sewer lines lead to sewer spills, which are
messy, bad for the environment, and can be expen- of
sive. The Town does everything it can to prevent
sewer spills, but we can't do it alone. WE NEED YADKINVILLE
YOUR HELP!

your disposal methods. Here are some tips to help C i
