This letter is in response to the Notice of Violation, Tracking # NOV-2020-DV-0052, concerning the
spill that occurred on December 2th, 2019 at 1402 Wiltshire Street, Guilford County, High Point, North
Carolina.
The spill at the above -mentioned address lasted for 15 minutes once the crew got on site at 11:50am.
The spill location was discovered at 1402 Willshire Street at the resident's cleanout. The crews
unstopped the sewer main using a sewer combination cleaning truck. It was determined that the
blockage was caused by a large amount grease that had built up in the main. Once the spill was
knocked down all solids were removed, and lime was spread over the area. We believe this to be an
isolated incident. We passed out information fliers to all nearby houses. Increased inspections in this
area will be conducted and cleaning will be increased to prevent future spills.
