Dr. Mr. Weaver,
I am writing in response to a NOV with civil penalty in the amount of $302.18 for
August 2019, Scarlett Acres, NC0061204. It was for a daily fecal coliform
exceedance and a missing C12 residual. I contacted DENR in Winston Salem and
told them that the missing CL2 was a clerical error and submitted a revised report
at which that time I thought everything was good because we have never been
fined for a daily violation. My discussion with the Winston-Salem did come after
the 10 day response time because I did not get the NOV till later from the owner. I
have since contacted Gary Hudson which is the NDCENR wastewater inspector for
Forsyth County and asked that he put me on the cc list so I will get all notifications
along with the owner so this doesn't happen again. I am asking for a remission
from this penalty because it was miscommunication between me and the owner
and it was only a daily violation and we were in for the monthly average. If there
