Request for minor Permit modification
Dear Sir/Madam:
By this letter, we wish to request a minor modification to permit WQ0001318 for the Lexington Regional
Compost Facility.
In the current permit, condition IV.2 indicates TCLP analysis shall be completed annually on both the
sludge from generating facility permit # NCO055786 and the Compost facility. The City of Lexington
humbly requests modification of the permit to "Once per Permit Cycle" instead of the Annual
requirement for TCLP analysis. Past analysis has demonstrated no limit exceedances have occurred.
This modification would represent significant cost savings for the City of Lexington and it is our hope you
will thoughtfully consider this request.
