Hi Matt,
There are no plans for CCR or coal type materials to be in the drainage areas of the Combined Cycle (SW009 and
SW010). The CCR activities associated with closing the 64 ash basin are more on the north side of the site.
Thanks,
Robert

Hi Robert,
My name is Matt Gwinn, and I am working on preparing a draft of the Asheville Steam Electric Plant industrial
stormwater permit with the requested modifications. After reviewing the information you provided it appears that
outfalls SWO09 and SW010 will receive discharge primarily from the areas surrounding the new combine cycle station.
However, In order to assign the appropriate analytical monitoring requirements I wanted to ask you if there will be any
transport of coal or CCR within the drainage areas of these outfalls.
Thank you,
Matt

Thank you Robert.
We were also wondering if you might have a spreadsheet that summarizes the past stormwater DMR data for
the site.

Annette,
Attached is a figure that shows the drainage area for the Asheville Combined Cycle. In the attached application on page
6 it includes the drainage area for the two stormwater outfalls (SW011 and SW012) adjacent to the site landfill.
If you need more information please let me know.
Thanks

Good morning Antonio,
We have begun reviewing the modification request that you submitted on January 29, 2020. To assist us in this process,
can you please provide a site map that shows the proposed locations of SW009, SW010, SW011 and SWO12 and the
boundaries of the associated drainage areas?
Please let me know if you have questions
Thank you,
Annette
