Hiram Tuft started operating the treatment plant in the fall od 2019. Per the Renewal Application Checklist narrative description of the sludge management plan for the facility; The sludge generated during the wastewater treatment is handled in this manner: once per year we contact Larry Sorrells Tank Pumping and he removes all the sludge (2,000) and is disposed at the Town of Waynesville wastewater treatment plant.
