This inspection consists of (1) a review of the permit and accompanying documentation to determine compliance with permit conditions, and (2) an on -site inspection of the system. All components have been turned off since early 2017 and no waste water has flowed through the plant. Some of the aeration basins are holding rainwater while others are dry. Of particular note: - Mr. Lucas said that they were hoping to sell the facility to another industry. If that happens, the new industry would likely not need the entire treatment capacity offered by the plant, and some minor modifications may be needed. They might also explore connection to Eden with pretreatment and eliminating the permit. - Some components could be turned back on with minimal effort, while others might take considerable maintenance and repairs. Specific repairs would be determined after the type of industry that would occupy the facility becomes known. - The former polishing ponds were converted to fresh water ponds and would likely need special consideration before accepting wastewater. Mr. Lucas said that the ponds' combined influent chamber and effluent pump could be converted to bypass the pumps and send wastewater to the effluent chamber. Comment: Permit (If the present permit expires in 6 months or less). Has the permittee submitted a new application? Is the facility as described in the permit? # Are there any special conditions for the permit? Is access to the plant site restricted to the general public? Is the inspector granted access to all areas for inspection? Comment: Pump Station - Influent Is the pump wet well free of bypass lines or structures? Is the wet well free of excessive grease? Are all pumps present? Are all pumps operable? Are float controls operable? Is SCADA telemetry available and operational? Is audible and visual alarm available and operational?
